When is the last time you had a health check-up? Not a disease check-up, but a health check-up.
A disease check-up is when you go to the doctor, you get blood work done and they quickly glance over it to make sure you do not have any serious going on with you. However, just because you don’t have a disease does not mean you’re healthy.
A health check-up is different. A health check-up looks uses a functional perspective to see if there is something going on in your body that might end up as disease later on. For example, diabetes does not happen overnight. It takes years of metabolic and physiological shifts in your body before it manifests itself as diabetes. It is something that can be caught early, if you know what to look for.
That’s what we do. We look at your blood work for patterns of health, not just disease. We use a tight set of parameters to help screen your blood work to look for patterns before disease exists.
In our Wellness Starter Package, we wanted to create a quick-and-easy way for you to get a health check-up to determine if you need to make any changes before something turns into disease.
The Wellness Starter Package offers you an economical way of quickly assessing your current state of health using a comprehensive functional blood chemistry panel, which includes over 50 blood markers to provide a complete biochemical assessment. The panel includes lipids, thyroid, kidney and liver panels, as well as glucose, minerals, a complete blood count, fluids and electrolytes, and Vitamin D.
We look at each system of your body, sift through the numbers and then tell you what we see in terms of health, before it turns into disease.
Here’s what you get:
- A comprehensive functional blood chemistry panel of over 50 biomarkers including panels to evaluate lipids, kidney, liver, blood sugar, minerals, fluids, electrolytes, immune system and Vitamin D.
- Once we receive the results, we evaluate it and type up our impressions into a 10-page packet, which includes your original results.
- We then spend 30 minutes with you going over each marker in detail so that you have a full understanding of
